Our education system in India demands students learn and reproduce by rote. This leaves very little room for creativity and exploration. In Jungian psychological terms, this means that all the students are doing is navigating the outer world. Their inner world that comprises creativity, emotions, dreams, and motivations, is mysterious and untouched and unexplored.

As a psychotherapist, conflict facilitator, and educator, Kalpana helps students get in touch with their inner world, their dreaming process, and importantly, their creativity.

In her sessions, Kalpana trains the students to reign in their creative processes while providing a direction to the creative impetus in the outer world. This involves allowing students to think, talk, and explore hidden or secret aspects of life.

Often her sessions touch upon topics and situations, the students have never had a chance to share with each other. As an unbiased adult facilitator, Kalpana strives to create a safe environment for all manners of views to be expressed and assessed. She emphasises on the fact that there are no good or bad, or right or wrong answers.

All this in turn creates a nurturing environment with a focus on sensitivity, compassion, and creativity, that aids students to lead fulfilling personal and professional lives.
